Tim Blixseth is an American real estate developer, timber baron, record producer, and songwriter who has a net worth of negative $250 million. Tim Blixseth was born in Roseburg, Oregon in April 1950. He co-founded the Yellowstone Club in Montana. In 2012 Blixseth faced bankruptcy because he failed to pay the state of Montana $57 million in income taxes. In 2014 he claimed to be too broke to pay his pending judgments for his fraud role in the Yellowstone Club bankruptcy.

He spent time in jail in 2015 for contempt. He started his career in land swap deals and federal timber contracts. He founded and chaired the Blixseth Group which included music, real estate, timber, and software ventures. Blixseth has been the subject of many personal and professional lawsuits and controversies.
