What is Qiu Guanghe's Net Worth?
Qiu Guanghe is a Chinese businessman who has a net worth of $2.8 billion. Mr. Guanghe is the chairman of Zhejiang Semir Garment, one of the largest apparel retailers in China. However, he lost $2.1 billion of his earnings from the apparel retailer in the past year, all because of a reduced consumer spending in the country. As of late, Zhejiang Semir Garment has been working with the government-controlled China Resources Land on MIXC, an $800 million real estate project based in Wenzhou.
The company also plans to set up a new firm called Shanghai Semir Investment, which is supposed to buy stakes in apparel companies with growth potential. Qiu Guanghe's son, Qiu Jiangjang, now serves as the vice chairman of the company. He took the position in 2012 after leaving the president seat to his brother-in-law, Zhou Pingfan.
