Orion Hindawi is an American businessman and entrepreneur who has a net worth of $1 billion. Orion Hindawi is best known for being the co-founder and CTO of the cybersecurity firm Tanium which he founded with his father David in 2007. Before Tanium, the father and son duo started the IT software patching system BigFix which they sold in 2010 to IBM for $400 million.
They spent five years secretly developing Tanium and raised $120 million which valued the company at $3.5 billion. Orion Hindawi co-manages the company with his father. Like his dad, Orion studied at UC Berkeley, but he dropped out just shy of graduating to work with his father.
