Lucio and Susan Co started small back in 1998, when they opened just one store, but ever since, they have significantly expanded the business that now numbers more than 150 hypermarkets, supermarkets and discount stores. Having low and middle-income consumers and small store owners as its target, Puregold have doubled since its IPO in 2011. But apart from their growing retail business, the two also hold interests in gaming, hotels, wine distribution and real estate.
